Due to the uncertainty of the pandemic things may change but rest assured we will do everything possible to safely get your kids on the water. Refunds will be provided if we cannot get them on the water this year.

At this time we are planning on holding the week long lessons with a reduced number of kids and extra staff to try and keep everyone safe.  Best to sign up early to reserve a spot and get a refund if it doesn’t happen. If anyone gets sick or shows symptoms we will have to cancel the week. We hope to have a health advisor on site. It will be one child per boat unless they are family. We will follow all Covid Rules set out by Sail Canada and BC Sailing and WorkSafe BC. Refunds will be available.

We are also starting up Youth/ Adult/Family Dinghy Sailing in evenings and on weekends and have the staff to give private and group lessons as long as we can maintain social distancing.

Each participant and their family must assess their own individual risk of exposure to COVID-19 acknowledging that engaging in any activity outside of one’s home at this time exposes a person to the risk of contracting COVID-19 even if all precautions and protocols are adhered to. If a participant is a member of a family or lives with a person who has underlying medical condition(s) they must not participate. If any participant’s family member has any of the above-noted COVID-19 symptoms, they must remain home, self-quarantine and not participate in sailing activities.
